When you have a deferred debit card, once a month you are debited from your main account (usually your current account) with a global transaction that includes all your expenditure for the current month.
If you have a deferred debit card, you may encounter the following two situations on Fygr.
I don't have details of my deferred debit card transactions on Fygr
To obtain the details of your transactions that make up the total deferred debit, simply connect the bank account associated with your deferred debit card.
To do this, follow the steps below:
Log in to your Fygr account;
Click on the Profile icon at the top right of the blue banner;
Click on the "My banks" button;
Click on the blue wheel of the bank concerned;
Click on "Update connection" ;
Once you have been redirected to the Powens interface, select the deferred debit card account and synchronise it.
Does my deferred debit transaction overlap with other banking transactions?
There are two possible scenarios for this question:
Cas 1 : La transaction ne fait pas doublon avec les détails issus du compte carte
The overall transaction debited at the end of the month is offset by a positive transaction of the same amount (generated by the card account).
Example:
04/05/2022 CB 0123XXXX789 Tot Dif Avril -2089.79€ (current account)
04/05/2022 CB 0123XXXX789 TOT DIF April +2089.79€ (CB account)
Case 2: The transaction duplicates details from the card account
The overall transaction debited at the end of the month duplicates the various transactions on the card account.
Why are there two scenarios?
It depends on the bank in question. Fygr retrieves the information sent by your bank to ensure accuracy.
How do I know what kind of situation I'm in?
Go to the "Transactions" tab;
Click on the filter button, then click on "Accounts";
Select the deferred debit card account only;
Check for positive global transactions (amounts similar to global deferred debit transactions)
Example: 04/05/2022 CB 0123XXXX789 TOT DIF April €2089.79
What if there are positive global transactions?
In this case, the deferred debit transaction debited at the end of the month is not duplicated with the transaction details obtained through synchronisation of the card account. You can therefore leave the Fygr account as it is, but we recommend that you archive or delete the two transactions that offset each other to avoid distorting your entries and exits for the month (inflated by the global transactions in question).
What if there are no positive global transactions?
In this case, you simply need to archive the deferred debit transaction that duplicates the various transactions reported by the card account so that your monthly outgoings are not distorted.
